Welcome to the web site of the Milford Shade Tree Commission. The Commission exists to promote, maintain and enhance the beauty of the trees that line the streets and alleys of Milford Borough.

Located in Northeast Pennsylvania, the Borough of Milford is a small town of about a thousand residents. The town is popular with tourists, not only for its own attractions but also because of its location on the Delaware river at the Northern end of the Poconos.

[Tree Tag] In addition to providing information about the Commission, this web site is also the repository of a database of the Milford shade trees. Each street-side tree is labeled with a small brass tag with a unique number for identification purposes. The tag number may be used in the search box on this page to look up information about a specific tree. There are currently 1699 trees in the database.

Use the menu-bar at the top of each page to navigate around the site.
